LED Technology in modern cold Light Sources

The LED supplements the halogen lamp as a cold light source. Thanks to their longer service life and limited changes in colour temperature in dim conditions, LEDs are increasingly becoming the preferred choice for fibre optic light guides.

FiberOptic uses high quality LED cold light sources for various applications. Our cold light sources with LED technology must fulfil the following requirements:

• Long service life up to 50,000 hours
• Over 500 lumens (intraLED 3) or 700 lumens (intraLED 5)
• Colour temperature 5800–6200 K
• Compact housing
